Indoor Soccer

So it's the New Year, and we're ready to get back in the swing of things and start plaing some soccer. More specifically, some INDOOR soccer.

We'll be playing at Total Soccer in Fraser. This facility is located just south of 15 Mile Road on the East Side of Utica Road.

Although we haven't yet received the full schedule, we know our first game is on Thursday, January 8th at 5:45pm. Remember to get there a little early so the kids can get stretched out and warmed up.

See you there!

A Great Day to be a Panther

Do you know why today was a great day to be a Panther?

Is it because all of our friends give every game 100% and always help out?
Check out Aaron, Daniel, Jace, Justin & TJ clearing this ball out of the Zone.

Is it because you can count on Lawrence to deek out the other kids to get the ball up the field, or that you know Ryan will steal the ball?

Is it because you know you've got the best goalies in the league ready to stop any shots that get by our defense?

Is today a great day to be a Panther because you know that friends like JJ and Matt will try their hardest to get you the ball, and are waaaaay excited when you score?

Or is it because you've got confidence in your teammates to know that they've got some mad skillz? Jace, Daniel, Lawrence, Matt, Aaron & Lawrence displayed these skillz today!

Or is it because friends like JJ, TJ, Mark, Jace & Dylan play defense like wild animals and love to steal the ball?
Is it because you have coaches that are here to support you with positivity and allow you to be better... (and thank goodness they don't yell at you like crazy dudes! Here's Coach Mark's impersonation of some crazy coach dude!)

Is it because your parents and family cheer so loudly when the Panthers score?

Or is it really because we have the best snacks and tunnels?

You know what... I agree with you. It's really all of these things that make today

A GREAT DAY TO BE A PANTHER!

Ice Cream Saturday

Since you boys have been playing so hard -

let's go celebrate with some

Ice Cream

at Cold Cow after the game Saturday!

And guess what - since the parent have been putting in quarters for every goal your team scores, we can buy everyone whatever ice cream you want!

Run, Run , Run as Fast as You Can!

The Panthers put on a show for the parents on Wednesday as they scored 5 goals!

Matt started things off by bringing the ball down the field and getting one past the goalie.

Then Aaron raced past the defense to put in a hard shot that went through the goalie's hands.

Mark played defense like a... Panther! He stayed in his position and controlled the ball anytime it entered the zone.

TJ intercepted a few passes and kicked them to the moon!

Ryan turned on the afterburners, took the pass from Jace and whipped around to place a beautiful kick solidly in the back of the net!

Then the Panthers started racing to the ball and kicking it up field. Check out the pressure by Lawrence, Derek, Matt & TJ!

Mitch and Aaron kept the ball away from the other team - check out this great teamwork!

Jace ran up and down the field, made some great passes and put in a rolling shot that fooled the goalie... JJ made sure that ball was going in the net!

Then JJ made no mistake about getting his first goal of the season by kicking one 100 miles per hour from right in front of the goal.

Mitch reeled back for a HUGE throw as Coach Mike makes sure that he keeps his feet down.

The Panthers decided it was time to put more pressure on the bad guys as they teamed up to steal the ball time and time again! Mark gets in perfect position to take this ball away as Derek and Justin come to assist.

Mitch decided to use the Force on this ball... seriously Mitch, you can just kick it! hahaha
Lawrence took away another would-be goal from the opposition, and showed his ball handling skills as he raced up the field!
Justin got on his horse and galloped up the field to get a chance at another goal!

Lawrence & Mark did a really nice job playing goalie. Thanks for the help in keeping this one away from the net boys!

Coach Mark begs to go get ice cream after the game while Coach Mike congratulates the boys and tells them where they need to be for the last quarter of the game.

Way to go Panthers! A nice win! Since you play so hard every game, let's go get some ice cream after Saturday's game!
